The Friends of Chichester Harbour are always extremely grateful for any gifts or legacies received however small. Bequests to the Friends of Chichester Harbour are fully exempt from Inheritance Tax in the United Kingdom.

CARBON OFFSET

Planting of trees, hedgerows and other conservation work promotes richer greener areas absorbing greater amounts of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.

If you have a high carbon footprint, that is you do a lot of travelling or indirectly use energy from fossil fuels and wish to compensate by facilitating more absorption of carbon dioxide then this programme can do that.

As a voluntary organisation we can offer a carbon offset programme where there are no reductions from your donation for administration, unlike many other programmes. The full amount of your donation will be spent on planting trees, hedgerows or other conservation related projects in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We will give you an account showing how your money has been spent.
